With Kiwengwa as your main beach destination, you will explore the waters surrounding Mnemba Island, discover Jozani Forest, visit Maalum Cave, enjoy a stop at the famous Rock Restaurant, experience the Safari Blue adventure, and finish your holiday with a guided tour of historic Stone Town.
Your Zanzibar holiday begins upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport or the ferry terminal. After meeting our representative, you will travel privately to Kiwengwa on Zanzibar’s beautiful eastern coastline. The first day has intentionally been kept free of scheduled excursions, allowing you to settle into your beach resort, recover from your journey, and enjoy your first taste of island life.
The following day takes you onto the Indian Ocean for a marine excursion to the waters surrounding Mnemba Island. This area is one of Zanzibar’s best-known snorkelling destinations, offering opportunities to discover tropical fish, coral formations, and other marine life in their natural environment. After the excursion, you will return to Kiwengwa, followed by another full day reserved entirely for relaxation.
On Day 4, you will leave the coast to experience a different side of Zanzibar. Begin with Jozani Forest, famous for its population of Zanzibar red colobus monkeys and beautiful forest environment. Continue towards Maalum Cave, where you can enjoy the unique natural surroundings and refreshing waters. The experience continues with a visit to the famous Rock Restaurant, one of Zanzibar’s most recognisable dining locations, situated on a rock just off the Michamvi Pingwe coastline. Restaurant meals can be arranged according to the final package.
Day 5 is another dedicated relaxation day, allowing you to enjoy your resort, Kiwengwa Beach, or optional activities at your own pace.
Your next adventure is the famous Safari Blue experience. This full-day marine excursion explores the Menai Bay area and traditionally combines sailing, snorkelling, swimming, sandbanks, tropical scenery, and a seafood lunch, subject to weather and tidal conditions.
On your final day, enjoy your last hours at the beach before checking out and travelling towards Stone Town. A guided city tour will introduce you to Zanzibar’s fascinating historical and cultural heritage before your private transfer continues to Zanzibar International Airport.

Enjoy your first views of the island as you travel towards your selected beach resort. Upon arrival, check in and spend the remainder of the day entirely at leisure. There are no scheduled activities today, giving you plenty of time to recover from your journey and settle into Zanzibar's relaxed tropical atmosphere. Walk along Kiwengwa's beautiful beach, take a refreshing swim in the Indian Ocean, relax beside the swimming pool, or simply enjoy the facilities and surroundings of your resort before your Zanzibar adventures begin.

After breakfast, depart from your hotel for an exciting marine adventure to the beautiful waters surrounding Mnemba Island. Travel by boat across the turquoise Indian Ocean towards designated snorkelling areas known for their tropical underwater environment. With snorkelling equipment provided, enter the clear waters and look for colourful tropical fish, coral formations, and other marine species that may naturally be encountered during the excursion. Enjoy the beautiful ocean scenery while your local marine guides assist throughout the experience. After completing your time on the water, return to the main island and transfer back to your hotel in Kiwengwa. Spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing on the beach, swimming, or enjoying the facilities of your resort.

After an early breakfast, meet your driver and travel towards the Fumba area for the famous Safari Blue experience.
