Designed for travellers who want to experience some of the island’s highlights without making every day too busy, this itinerary combines the beautiful northern coastline of Kendwa, a romantic sunset cruise, the turquoise waters surrounding Mnemba Atoll, a full day of beach relaxation, the famous Safari Blue experience, and a guided exploration of historic Stone Town before departure.
Your Zanzibar holiday begins upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport or the ferry terminal, where you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred privately to Kendwa on the northern coast. Kendwa is famous for its beautiful white-sand beach, clear Indian Ocean waters, spectacular sunsets, and relaxed tropical atmosphere. After checking into your selected beach hotel, you will have time to settle in before heading out for an evening sunset cruise along Zanzibar’s northern coastline.
The second day takes you to the waters surrounding Mnemba Atoll, one of Zanzibar’s most popular marine areas. You will travel by boat to designated snorkelling locations where you can explore the underwater environment and look for colourful tropical fish, coral formations, and other marine life. The experience combines beautiful ocean scenery with an opportunity to discover another side of Zanzibar beneath the surface.
After the marine adventure, Day 3 is deliberately kept free for relaxation. There are no scheduled excursions, allowing you to enjoy Kendwa at your own pace. Spend the day on the beach, relax beside the swimming pool, enjoy your resort facilities, or arrange an optional activity if you would like to explore further.
On Day 4, you will experience Safari Blue, one of Zanzibar’s signature full-day ocean excursions. The adventure traditionally explores the beautiful waters of the Menai Bay area, combining sailing, swimming, snorkelling, sandbanks and a seafood lunch, depending on sea and weather conditions. It provides a different marine experience from Mnemba and introduces you to another beautiful part of Zanzibar’s coastline.
Your final day combines a comfortable departure with one last cultural experience. After checking out, you will transfer towards Stone Town for a guided city tour through its historic streets before continuing to Zanzibar International Airport for your onwards flight.

Zanzibar Itinerary
Upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport or the ferry terminal, you will be welcomed by our representative and begin your private transfer to Kendwa on Zanzibar's beautiful northern coast. Upon reaching your selected hotel, check in and take some time to relax after your journey while enjoying the tropical surroundings and views of the Indian Ocean. Later in the afternoon, prepare for a memorable sunset cruise along the northern coastline. Sail across the ocean while watching the colours of the sky change as the sun slowly disappears over the horizon. After enjoying the peaceful evening on the water, return to Kendwa and spend the remainder of the evening relaxing at your beach hotel.

After breakfast, depart from your hotel for an exciting marine adventure to the waters surrounding Mnemba Atoll. Travel by boat across the turquoise Indian Ocean towards designated snorkelling locations known for their tropical underwater environment. With snorkelling equipment provided, enter the clear waters and look for colourful tropical fish, coral formations, and other marine species that may naturally be encountered during the excursion. Your guides will assist throughout the experience while you enjoy the beautiful ocean scenery surrounding Zanzibar's northeastern coastline. After completing the excursion, return to the main island and transfer back to your hotel in Kendwa. The remainder of the afternoon and evening will be free for relaxation, swimming, or simply enjoying your resort.

Today is completely dedicated to relaxation, giving you a comfortable break between your marine excursions. Spend the morning walking along the soft white-sand beach, swimming in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, or relaxing beside the swimming pool. You may also enjoy the facilities available at your selected hotel or simply find a peaceful place overlooking the ocean and enjoy the tropical surroundings. For guests who would like additional experiences, optional activities can be arranged. Otherwise, enjoy a slow and peaceful day before tomorrow's Safari Blue adventure.

After an early breakfast, meet your driver and travel towards the Fumba area for one of Zanzibar's most popular ocean adventures, the Safari Blue experience. Board a traditional-style sailing boat and begin exploring the beautiful waters and islands of the Menai Bay area. Depending on weather, tides, and sea conditions, the experience may include snorkelling, swimming in clear waters, relaxing on a sandbank, and visiting scenic locations around the bay. During the excursion, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch accompanied by tropical flavours and refreshments. Safari Blue offers an excellent combination of sailing, marine exploration and relaxation in a completely different part of Zanzibar. After the full-day experience, return to Fumba and transfer back to your hotel in Kendwa.
