There are many opportunities to see and photograph wildlife on each drive.
Descend from the Serengeti into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s premier wildlife-viewing sites. The crater boasts an incredible concentration of wildlife making it one of the best places to see the lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, hyenas and the endangered black rhino all in one game drive. Then on to the tranquil town of Karatu, nestled among rolling coffee plantations and stunning highland scenery.
The safari ends with a visit to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park known for its lush groundwater forests, tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park has a wide range of habitats that provide some excellent wildlife viewing and a relaxing end to your safari before returning to Arusha.
