Later, accompanied by an armed park ranger, begin a guided walking safari through a designated area of the park. Lions and other predators may also appear during your game drive. Enjoy lunch surrounded by the wilderness before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration. Later, proceed to Tarangire Public Campsite, where your camping team will prepare your evening meal. The crater is also one of Tanzania’s important areas for the endangered black rhinoceros, although sightings can never be guaranteed. Begin your day early with a journey from Karatu toward the Lake Eyasi region for an authentic cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Datoga communities. Depending on the morning’s activities, you may observe some of the skills and traditions that have been passed through generations. Afterwards, visit the Datoga community, where you will learn about their pastoral traditions, craftsmanship and metalworking practices. After completing the cultural experience, begin your drive back toward Arusha.
